QOSO Scholarship Information

The Annual Scholarships in Bloom Auction Benefit on March 5, 2010 raised over $12,000 in funds for QOSO scholarships. For the 2009-2010 school year, QOSO is proud to award thirteen high school seniors from nine local high schools scholarship awards ranging from $3,000 to $250.

The 2011 scholarship application will be available for download in late fall.

This scholarship application is available to any high school senior who meets one of the following criteria:

• Any high school senior who lives aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico regardless of sponsor’s rank or branch of service.
• Any high school senior whose active duty or retired sponsor works aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico or retired from MCB Quantico, regardless of rank or branch of service.

2010 $pring Fling Supporters

The Quantico Officers' Spouses' Organization (QOSO) is pleased to offer Merit Scholarships to the dependent children of active duty, retired, or deceased military personnel, regardless of rank or branch of service. This is a merit scholarship program and applicants will be judged on the basis of:

• Scholastic achievement (non-weighted GPA)
• Scholastic honors
• Educational goals
• Motivation
• Extra curricular activities
• Community service
